Il secondo capitolo della Trilogia della Luna ha sempre Shakespeare come fonte d’ispirazione. La sua doppia faccia agisce su tutti i personaggi come fonte di ispirazione e di inganno al tempo stesso. A contemplarla un giovane Amleto che dalle frasi del monologo più tormentato al mondo trae spunto per interrogarsi sul senso della vita, della morte, della realtà del sogno e del Teatro stesso che la vita appunto rappresenta e grazie al quale possiamo morire senza mai morire davvero.
Ispirato dal linguaggio dei Fratelli Marx, dei Monty Python e dal teatro patafisico, lo spettacolo si concentra sulla vicenda di una compagnia di “scomunicati” che, chiamati da Amleto con la scusa di dover mettere in scena La crudelissima tragedia di Piramo e Tisbe, rimangono preda degli spiriti in un sogno notturno di mezz’estate. L’intento riuscito è di farli cadere vittime del Sentimento che da sempre conduce l’essere umano a vivere e morire per lui, l’Amore. Quello per la Vita alla fine coincide sempre con quello per il Teatro, una delle poche cose rimaste vere in questo porco, finto mondo.

Il nostro gruppo Dadadàun, con il senso di meraviglia che solo chi appartiene a un’orbita diversa del mondo può restituire, porta in scena così una visione altra della realtà, un teatro che rifiuta il controllo per affidarsi al rischio, allo stupore e alla verità di chi non sa fingere.

Dal 2005 mettiamo in scena un teatro dove la diversità è linfa creativa. Gesti, parole e suoni nascono tutti dal contributo vero delle nostre attrici e dei nostri attori, co-autori e protagonisti di storie inedite o sempre e comunque reinventate e rese originali.

I nostri 15 spettacoli finora prodotti sono andati in scena nei più importanti teatri e festival di Palermo e della Sicilia; con Stralunati, progetto sostenuto nel 2025 dal Ministero della Cultura, dipartimento dello Spettacolo, la compagnia è tuttora impegnata in una tournée nazionale di successo.

Ai Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa di Palermo abbiamo fondato il nostro Polo artistico per la diversità, un progetto di inclusione che trasforma talenti “invisibili” in protagonisti. Grazie a un laboratorio teatrale permanente e a Maestri – artisti, poeti, drammaturghi, musicisti, danzatori – che credono in questo progetto, stiamo costruendo una comunità creativa abilmente diversa: uno spazio aperto a tutti, dove si impara facendo e si costruisce insieme. Qui la libertà di espressione diventa linguaggio teatrale unico, capace di sorprendere e arricchire chi lo crea e chi ne è spettatore.

Con il sostegno del Bando 8×1000 della Chiesa Valdese, la Bottega Alchemica sta potenziando corsi e laboratori per professionalizzare i suoi artisti, diventando un vero hub di creatività e crescita personale e collettiva. Mezzi sogni d’Estate, nuova pièce interpretata con poetica ironia da 5 attori dada-Down, ne è la prova concreta.

Summer’s Half-Dreams
Or The Most Cruel Death of Pyramus and Thisbe

The second chapter of the Moon Trilogy draws once again from Shakespeare as its source of inspiration. Influenced by the language of the Marx Brothers, Monty Python, and pataphysical theatre, the performance centers on a company of “excommunicated misfits” who, under the pretense of staging The Most Lamentable Comedy and Most Cruel Death of Pyramus and Thisbe, fall prey to the spirits in a midsummer night’s dream.

The intended and achieved effect is to make them fall victim to the Feeling that has always driven human beings to live and die for it: Love. Love for Life, in the end, always coincides with Love for Theatre—one of the few true things left in this phony, filthy world.

Our group Dadadàun, with the sense of wonder that only those who belong to a different orbit of the world can offer, brings to the stage an alternative vision of reality: a theatre that rejects control in favor of risk, wonder, and the truth of those who cannot pretend.

Since 2005, we’ve been staging a theatre where diversity is creative lifeblood. Gestures, words, and sounds all arise from the authentic contributions of our actresses and actors—co-authors and protagonists of new stories, or reinvented and made original anew.

Our 15 productions have been staged in the most important theatres and festivals of Palermo and Sicily. With Stralunati—a project supported in 2025 by the Ministry of Culture, Department of Performing Arts—the company is currently engaged in a successful national tour.

At the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo, we’ve founded our Artistic Center for Diversity: a project of inclusion that transforms “invisible” talent into lead roles. Thanks to a permanent theatre workshop and to the Maestri—artists, poets, playwrights, musicians, dancers—who believe in this project, we are building a creatively different community: an open space where people learn by doing and build together.

Here, freedom of expression becomes a unique theatrical language, capable of surprising and enriching both its creators and its audience.

With the support of the 8×1000 Waldesian Church Grant, La Bottega Alchemica is expanding its courses and workshops to professionalize its artists, becoming a true hub of creativity and both personal and collective growth.
Half-Summer Dreams, a new piece interpreted with poetic irony by 5 dada-Down actors, is its living proof.
